EUROPE
There are a
total of 6 genealogies (pedigree lists) which describe the European
ancestry of of the Hussey family, currently we have the only the
most important one available for your review. As these pedigrees are
developed we will see lines going back in time through Earls of
Kent, Barons of Lumley, the Dukes of Normandy and their ancestors
the Vikings (Norsemen), as well as Charlemagne, the Frankish Kings,
and the ancient Kings of Britain.
NOTE: These
genealogies are all contingent on one key link, which remains
controversial, and that is the identity Captain Christopher Hussey's
grandparents. We mention this so that visiting professional genealogists will realize
we are aware of this issue. We are aware that this matter is still
unresolved with the New England Genealogical Society as of 2008, but
we dispute their findings. |
